An otherworldly librarian guides a group of school children through the ABCs of Nightmare Creatures at the Library of Shadows

 Ms. Macbre's The ABCs of Nightmare Creatures is a 300 page middle grade graphic novel which is mostly fun and a little spooky with a dash of education thrown in for good measure. It's part alphabet book, part monster guide (featuring a double page spread of monster stats and “Nightmare Score” for each entry), and richly illustrated in “comic vision” which simulates the look of vintage screen printed comics. It's designed to ignite the imagination of the younger audience and delight older audiences alike who will be reminded of how they felt reading Goosebumps and Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.
